A woman’s ex-husband listed all the sacrifices he made when they were still in a relationship. She read them with her current husband and documented their reaction on TikTok.
The video, posted by TikToker @rileymadison00, had drawn more than 14.9 million views as of publication. The influencer mentioned he shared it with her during their divorce via text.
First, he mentioned losing the opportunity to grow intimate with “every other woman” he met when they were together since they were dating. Later on, he also mentioned that he couldn’t have conversations with said women.
He also had to apparently forget about his free time so that he could work. The woman described it as the process of simply “getting a job” so that they both could be financially stable. Next, he recalled each time they had to come home early when he wanted to stay out late.

She had context for this and mentioned that at the time she was pregnant and it was already 12:00 a.m. And when she’d ask to go home early (at 12:00 at night) and eat, he would yell at her.
Other responses included sacrifices on what to watch—he made them watch Civil War documentaries every night, car troubles, and money. The next one puzzled both of them. It read: “Love I could’ve let (possibly left) for myself, or others.”
Some of the other things he gave up included secrecy and privacy, pride, “being a jerk,” his whole life, and feeling good about himself. There was a total of 16 reasons the ex-husband believed were sacrifices he made for her.

In the end, the woman asked followers if she was in any way in the wrong about anything mentioned on the list. Many commenters said the only thing she had done wrong was staying in the relationship.
Many commenters mocked the ex-husband's list with brief responses and commenting on the things from the list they were irked or intrigued by.
A user pointed out the comment about him getting a job, noting, “(It's) the funniest way to describe just normal employment.”
Another assumed, “Yeah, he typed that out and thought, ‘yeah, that’s right.’” Others responded with a question: Why have texts from your ex when you’re happily married? Well, she had a pretty honest answer for that in a separate video: Because they’re funny.
