Mark Jason Williams ​is an award-winning playwright, essayist, and travel writer. He writes for the New York Times, Washington Post, HuffPost, Out Magazine, Salon, Thrillist, Wired, Insider, Time Out, Good Housekeeping, The Globe and Mail,​ Far &amp; Wide, and more. His plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C. Mark has a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU&#8217;s Tisch School of the Arts and is three-time recipient of ​the Planet Connections Award for Outstanding Playwriting. 
He lives in New York with his husband and two senior dogs.
Mark&#8217;s debut book, Out in the World, is an inclusive and fun travel guide for the LGBTQIA+ community and friends—and the first book of its kind for National Geographic.
