The “If you don’t love me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best” meme has caught fire on social media this week. Now, actor Kyle MacLachlan has posted his own version, and it might be the best one yet.
The premise of the meme is easily understandable: You post two photos next to each other with the words “if you don’t love me at my” underneath the first picture and “then you don’t deserve me at my” underneath the second.
The idea is that the first photo is supposed to be worse than the second. And MacLachlan used that conceit for a little self-deprecating humor about his age, his outfit, and his goofy expression.

All of those are humorous. But when it comes to making fun of himself in meme form, MacLachlan, at least in this case, is the clear winner.
